A promise of traditional precision combined with alternative sensibilities.

The LAWTON house style is designed to accentuate the depths of each client’s individual charm. Speaking in a matter of silhouette, this translates to bold sculptures, strong lines and elongating shapes which serve to strengthen and elevate the natural canvas of the body.

In technical terms: LAWTON delivers square padded shoulders with high ropes, visually suppressed waists sans weight upon wear, and ever so slightly skirted bases upon the jacket hem. The level at which this style can be implemented is confirmed upon consultation – whether it be softened for insouciance or sharpened for extravagance.

From this flattering head-to-toe base, LAWTON’s signature details are stitched. First and foremost, the lapel in its most maximalist sense: peak. Informed by the cultural decadence displayed in tailoring across old Hollywood cinema, the base of the lapel is curved, developing to a stark straight edge which rises to subtle angulation at the height of the chest. In a seductive finish, it is completed by a razor-sharp point: turned in by the attentive hand of a LAWTON tailor.

Honouring the magnetism of this sartorial history, LAWTON pushes the strength of peaked tailoring to every fine detail: sharp collar points, cuffs and pocket flaps – the latter of which are framed into perfectly precise squares. Linings have been closely developed in collaboration with our Italian mill: beginning with a fine Bemberg Cupro yarn which is woven in a satin weave on jacquard looms. Look closely, and you’ll find the LAWTON house logo etched elegantly into its production.

This house style intertwines the precise formulas of tailoring with the luxury etchings of couture, and its effect upon wear is the promise of expressive  depth, magnetism and glamour.

The boldly delineated lines of the 1930s meet the flamboyant finishes of the 1970s. Passion, progression, power: the LAWTON house style is designed to greet and accentuate the finest flairs within yourself.
